Do you want to create a more authentic, wholehearted life? Join us!

The Daring Way™ is highly experiential and based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. During the retreat, you will learn how to show up, be seen, live a braver life, and develop daily practices of courage that transform the way you live, lead, and achieve the things most important to you. In a safe space we will explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We also will examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that hold us back and identify new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The foundation of the learning is developing shame resilience skills and daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.

“I recently attended The Daring Way with Laura Sharon at Imperative Dimensions. Prior to the retreat, I had read Brene’s work and watched her Ted Talks. I felt very moved by the idea of living courageously and inspired to be more authentic but I also struggled to find concrete ways to do so in my own life. The Daring Way, as led by Laura, provided me with the actionable, real life plan that I was hoping to find. I have spent most of my life – in work and in play – either hiding or suppressing greatness for the fear of being truly seen. The retreat taught me so many techniques for breaking down my armor and letting the true me shine.  It also unexpectedly lit a fire in my creative spirit that I’m carrying forward today. The safe space and connection between participants that Laura is able to facilitate is incredible. Within an hour of starting the retreat, the entire group felt like old friends and the sharing became even more honest and healing as the weekend went on. My message to anyone considering this work, especially with Laura, is to do it now and do it often. The Daring Way is truly a transformative experience.” Kendall
“This was one of the best retreats I’ve ever been on. Content, format, structure, direction, hope, etc. were all superb. We didn’t get too caught up in each person’s story or struggles, but I was able to grow in mine.” Amy N.
“I feel so grateful for getting to experience the Daring Way workshop this past weekend with Laura and 6 other attendees. It helped me validate my struggles and deepen my understanding of where I am in my life and that I am not alone. Also, I feel hopeful to be armed with some applicable tools to use in my day-to-day life going forward. Thank you.” Laura
“It was a privilege to be part of this retreat and to share with such incredible women, all whom have earned a marble in my jar! [What was most helpful was] Brené’s recorded messages and the handouts/work notebook. Also, Laura as the facilitator. She really engaged us and summed up our shares in such meaningful ways.” Liz
“If you are having trouble showing up in your life, trying to get rid of emotional baggage, need help walking through pain, contact Laura. She will change your life!” Ali
