As a seasoned executive and life coach and learning and performance improvement consultant, I have more than 30 years of professional experience. It spans areas of coaching, leadership development, organizational change, executive meeting design and facilitation, front-end performance analysis and assessment,business process improvement, interpersonal communications, training design and delivery, and qualitative research and program evaluation. I have led a variety of organizational development projects for county, state, and federal government, as well as private sector and non-profit organization clients. I have a background in chronic disease prevention and health promotion and human behavior change.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College, a Master’s Degree in Health Education from the University of Maryland, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
As a Certified Dare to Lead™ and Daring Way™ Facilitator, bringing Brené Brown’s groundbreaking, research-based programs to retreat, small group, workshop or presentation settings. The programs include: Dare to Lead™; Daring Greatly™; Rising Strong™; and The Gifts of Imperfection™. I am also a Certified EQi 2.0 practitioner, Kirkpatrick Certified Facilitator, and member of the International Coach Federation.
I also am the author of When I Lay My Hands on My Heart, a book of poetry and drawings—for therapists and other helping professionals working with trauma survivors—that chronicles how creativity can be used as a tool for healing trauma.
