As a seasoned executive and life coach and learning and performance improvement consultant, I have more than 30 years of professional experience. It spans areas of coaching, front-end performance analysis and assessment, leadership development, organizational change, executive meeting design and facilitation, business process improvement, interpersonal communications, training design and delivery, and qualitative research and program evaluation. In my work, I have led a variety of organizational development projects for county, state, and federal government, as well as private sector and non-profit organization clients. I have a background in chronic disease prevention and health promotion and human behavior change.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College, a Master’s Degree in Health Education from the University of Maryland, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
As a Certified Dare to Lead™ and Daring Way™ Facilitator, bringing Brené Brown’s groundbreaking, research-based programs to retreat, small group, workshop or presentation settings. The programs include: Dare to Lead™; Daring Greatly™; Rising Strong™; and The Gifts of Imperfection™. I am also a Certified EQi 2.0 practitioner, Kirkpatrick Certified Facilitator, and member of the International Coach Federation.
And I am the author of When I Lay My Hands on My Heart, a book of poetry and drawings—for therapists and other helping professionals working with trauma survivors—that chronicles how creativity can be used as a tool for healing trauma.
